Acrylic Sealant

GLUEDEVIL ACRYLIC SEALANT is a permanently flexible, single component sealant which is fast-drying and most importantly paintable. Excellent for sealing indoor and outdoor joints and connections on surfaces such as plaster, concrete, masonry, gypsum, aluminum, zinc, PVC and wood.

APPLICATIONS:

• Sealing cracks in plaster.
• Sealing joints between concrete and brickwork.
• Sealing joints between metal and wooden frames, skirting boards, windowsills, ceilings, etc.

DIRECTIONS FOR USE:

• Ensure surfaces to be sealed are clean and dry before application.
• Cut the tip off the cartridge above the thread.
• Cut the tip off the nozzle to the desired bead size and screw the nozzle onto the cartridge.
• Apply silicone with a caulking gun to the prepared joint in a continuous bead at a 45⁰ angle.
• Use a flat, wet tool to smooth inconsistencies before skin formation occurs (± 20 mins).
• Make sure the sealant makes contact with both surfaces while still uncured.
• Store in a cool, dry place below 35⁰C. NOTE
• Sealant will be ready to be painted over after 1 hour curing time at 23⁰C.
• Not suitable for usage in damp areas or continuous submersion in water. · External applications exposed to the elements need to be painted over

CLEANING TIP:

• Shortly after application, soapy water can be used to clean hands and tools.
• Once cured, MEK must be used to remove sealant.

STORAGE AND SHELF LIFE:

GLUEDEVIL ACRYLIC SEALANT has a shelf life of 12 months (the expiry date is shown on the packaging), when stored at a temperature between 0˚C to 35˚C in its original unopened packaging.
