APPLICATIONS

GD597 Windscreen Adhesive exhibits excellent adhesion to glass and pinch weld surfaces.
It is easy to apply with good extrudability for either mobile or in-house installations. In areas with warm and humid climatic conditions, a drive away time of 2 hours can be achieved.
Passenger vehicles with 2 airbags at 26°C and 60% relative humidity.
At lower temperatures and humidity’s, the drive away time will be longer.

Product Description

GLUEDEVIL WINDSCREEN ADHESIVE is a direct glazing one part moisture curing urethane designed for the automotive glass replacement industry. It exhibits excellent adhesion to glass and pinchweld surfaces. It is easy to apply with good extrudabilty for either mobile or in-house installations. In areas with warm and humid climatic conditions a drive away time of 2 hours can be achieved.*

Application Details

Application Temperature: +5°C and +35°C

Remove old/damaged windscreen.
Ensure all surfaces are clean, dry and free of dust, rust, grease or oil before application.
Clean windscreen with an approved glass cleaner.
GLUEDEVIL Windscreen Adhesive is primerless to fresh cut polyurethane but if applied to scratched or painted metal surfaces then it is recommended to pre-treat with GDW-Primer for improved bond strength.
Apply adhesive in a triangular bead evenly onto the residual adhesive bead.
Position windscreen within 15 minutes.

Shelf Life

Store the product in a cool and dry place.
The shelf life is 12 months at temperatures between +5°C and +25°C.

Caution

Keep out of reach of children.
Avoid contact with eyes and skin.
Curing rate will decrease in areas that aren’t properly ventilated or in low temperatures.
